Our craft
Dyed with madder, woven on wooden looms
Our weavers work in villages on looms their mothers used. The wool is spun by hand and dyed in small batches: madder root for red, walnut husk for brown, indigo for blue. A wall rug takes weeks on the loom, not hours.
